Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, Malaysia’s oldest traditional Chinese temple

Our next stop is to Cheng Hoon Teng Temple located at Jalan Tokong. It is time to pray the God for the bless in passing the exam. The entrance See how crowded this temple is..
History time:
Cheng Hoon Teng Temple also known as Green Cloud Temple was constructed in 1673 and is the oldest functioning temple in Malaysia. Its construction was dedicated to Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy and it is devoted equally to the three doctrines-Taoism, Confucianism and Chinese-Buddhism.

You need to buy the praying items as in top right pic. The first step is to light the candles. Then, is to burn the incense and pray to the Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. Remember to follow the steps. As usual, you can bring fruits and flowers for offerings.
