The Week of Sports
China Super Series 2007.
First and foremost, i'm very lazy to blog plus i extremely exhausted today. However, the gold medal won by our Wong Mew Choo defeating the World No. 1 Xie Xing Fang(Lin Dan's gf) -21-16, 8-21, 21-17- sparked up my energy to write this blog in tribute to her win after 18 years of waiting of GOLD medal in women single especially in China Open Super Series. I felt like kissing her... doesnt mean i like her..make it clear..hahha
It's amazing to see hw she played. If you watch the final LIVE, then you would agreed to me. She might be the underdog of the game. However, her determination and the spirit to move on even though knowing she might nt have the chance of winning contributed to her success. As in the tie game, she was left behind 14-16, and if you can see her facial expression, for each rally that she played even though lose of win, she was determined to played the shuttle to her fullest energy. Without fail, she managed to calm herself and collected points after points en route winning the tie match with 21-17. This is wat we called semangat "Malaysia Boleh'. I might nt as skillful as you do, but I believed myself, I dun bother about the crowd who do not support me, I played to my fullest energy and fullest concentration. And that exactly her key of success and her scream of joy soon confirming the last return by Xing Fang which dropped on the 'out' area proved that she has made it!! It's hard to believe but she managed to go thru the hard time to emerge as the CHaMpION...making the crowd in the stadium silence.
AHemm.. here comes another different story.. In the men single, Lee Chong Wei was defeated in a highly controversial game to Bao Chun Lai of China 12-21, 13-21. It was nt his best, but wat I observed was he do played well just dat luck wasn't on his side. In the second game, I would say that the winning oppurtunity for him was 50-50. However, due to the OBVIOUS poor line judgement that required the changes of the 'line watchperson' and also the stupid umpire, he was down tamely to Bao. I don't understand why thr wasn't any offical from WBF or the high rank officials who dare enuff to acknowledge the clear mistakes occured as all of them were biased to the host country, China. For the poor line judgement, they din even showed the playback and for some of the playback shown, u can see the clear wrong judgements. Where are the offcials who supposed to correct all dis? In the second game, there was a time when Bao gave a high return in front of Lee net, and as usual wat we and him will do was a powerful smash to opposite field. However, the stupid umpire denied it and called it as a fault as to his judgement, the racquet has passed over the net but it wasn't. No playback for that as to my concern. Lee was very frusfrated too. I dun understand why he dun give a walkover. You may say for the spirit of the game.. but the whole game was biased to him. Hw he supposed to concentrate and to play without motivation? While as usual, Zang Bo the annoying coach barking like a dog at Lee.. He continued to play the game and when you dun hav the spirit, hw are u able to win the match? I think he dun hav the guts like Taufik.. haha.. he is the King of Walkover... Anyway, congrats to him to reach the final of China Open and his willingness to continue the game. I would say Bao's win was nt a true win, it's just a gift for him. Anyway, we will see wat would happen next Wednesday for the Hong Kong Super Series.
A1 Grandprix Malaysia.
It's a week of sports. I'm switching tv1 and tv2 for 2 diff sports which involved Malaysia. As usual, I alwiz support the nation team. Here comes the update. It was a good start for Alex, but however due to the collision with New Zealand, the race became boring. I am not dat frusfrated over the collision coz its normal in the game. What make me felt unhappy was during the last 3-5 laps, Alex was actually tailing behind Australian team. To my disappointment, he was overtake by 3 cars, from Pakistan, germany and 1 more nation. Hw can he let them to overtake easily.. Hey it was las 3 lap.. u should used ur skill to overtake Australian but instead by being the 6th overall last year in the championship, hw can you be easily overtake?? That was a bad quality of show@!!! Haih...
For Chee Hoe, luckily i did not follow u go thr and watch..if nt i would get heart attack~
wise choice..........hahaha

Token of appreciation
THE LAUNCHING, TUESDAY 20/11/2007Well, if u guys wondering what i have been doin since back from camp..the answer is setting up this blog.. well it took me almost 3days 24 hours to make the blog..it seem simple..but dealing with the html code and inserting pictures are just nt dat easy as u can think of..maybe my skill is nt good enuff..haha..it took at few hours just to adjust the pictures in correct alignment ..dun really know why.. i'm been working this blog asap so that those who went for the camp can view the pictures should u did nt get to see me..i think most of them..dat's y i spent days to work it out..
In making this blog, I would like to convey special tribute to my dearest sifu alina from http://pinkyumika.blogsome.com/ for her guidances for me and also nt being anger with my continous disturb wit lots of questions.. Tq so much.. Thanx to ming fai also for lending me the adobe photoshop..as i cant find the installation cd at home..

Day 1, Wednesday 14/11/2007 Camp Fire Eagle Ranch Resort PD
It's holiday time!~ A total of 40 participants and 19 organising comittee members including 2 lecturers, Ms Wong Pooi See (and her daughter) & Ms Wong Pei Nee joined the 3 D 2N camp fire at Eagle Ranch Resort , PD. Most of the organising committe travel by cars while the rests by UCSI bus.(it's proud that my uni has her own bus now). And this time i'm not the part of OC but instead i was one of the participants.

2-MY group,6 -Carlsberg .. v actually got the name coz coincidentally v found a drinking pad bearing the carlsberg as sponsor.. so v sang the melody of the theme song and the group cheer is 'Yala' which means 'Lets go!' in Yamen language
2,3-during the break, v hav ntg to do.. so v keep on venture until v found dis place well equipped with amplifier and mic.. So, wan nah on her excitement started to sing a number of sing...but each attempt was disrupted coz raj or nic or wei yau would switch off the main power..haha

Telematch- We were required to perform stunts all on the floor such as 5 legs 6 hands, 5butts 4legs and etc. It was quite easy bt quite fun to play..

3- Irwinder, cindy and xiao you were seen headache and confused due to lack of 'trained' manpower..u know who i mean rite....as usual alwiz blur... they r indecisive over who finished the task first...
2,3- Ming fai, alvin & jee yang demonstrating the tummy game.. U r required to raise up ur tummy as directed by game master..The person who laid on ur tummy will hav to count hw many time ur tummy rise and perform the same action ..The last person has to guess the correct number of tummy rise as directed initially to the first person.. quite a new and interesting game~ however, didnt get to play as the gals feel unsecure...haha
Next telematch is called the caterpillar.. Teams are required to blow the ballon and put it in between the side of their body. Then, they need to move to the end point and since the ballons are easily burst, the movement will be slow just like a caterpillar.
3-I actually blew 3 balloons..coz some of them can't blow it up..we did not manage to do the task as dickson group was fast enough to reach the end point

My team won by giving the
answer 'sharpener' and saved from
being punished. I was a strategy that i discussed with Mahmood earlier which makes the guessing faster
After the telematchs, it's time for us to get to know each other... Only at this time i knew my members name..hahaha
Next activity was the water ballon basketball alike. Instead of a ball, v were given the water ballon. We were required to pass the water balloon to the opposite field where our own goalkeeper was stationed there. Once we get the ballon, we were nt allowed to hold it and run but instead pass or throw it to
others
1-kuan poh vs chun wei group.. Chun wei nt only a good basketball player bt also a good water ballon player.. it's amazing to see hw he manage to throw up high the water balloon or catch the ballon without breaking it.. bravo!~~
The punishment for breaking the water ballon is yourself being bathed with the water. How come Dickson do the job?

The next activity was to grab your frens hands in a group of ppl and try to unlock the chain by forming a circle/ring..It's very satisfying when you are able to form the ring..bt it's seem hard to unlock when thr is more than 10 persons.. v tried but didn't get it.. v only managed to get a big ring encicrcled with a small ring..any1 tell us wHY? meantime, xiao you frusfrated to try alrdy
and as usual sit aside..
Moving on is the Limbo Rock..iszit correct spelling? If u hav flexible and soft backbone then it's ur game~ i felt pain playing this game..haih maybe due to lack of exercises..bt overall nt bad.. a good contender..haha.. so far Melissa is the best..she can easily curve her abck without diffciulty and she did nt go to any yoga or aerobic class...geng~

Mahmood as always is the key player..
The last game of the day was the Treasure Hunt. We hav to solve the clues given and resemble all the pieces of puzzles. This was the best part as it was played at night 'when the sky is dark'. The main problem was that I was wearing a wrong sandals..Initially, didnt run dat fast..quite laggin while Joshua was unseenable. So, i tried to change with jee yang bt he hesitated.. thanx wei yau for lending his sandals that increases my mobility.. It's a real teamwork game where v have to solve the clues given to speed from station to another station. My group was the champion far ahead from other groups!~~but sadly there was no rewards for dat~Soon after that, many ppl ask me why I am seen running here & thr non stop? Well, if nt...then its nt called treasure hunt..it should be named as slow and steady hunt.. haha.. Besides that, the comittee told us that they actually finished up all the bandages they brought along..wow.. seem that a lot of ppl get injured in this game.. they need to buy a new supply in the following day.. wat a surprise..don't worry.. my group was still okay..and no injuries...
