My first Nuffnang Cheque

Finally, the long awaited first cheque from Nuffnang has arrived! Many had questioned me where is the cheque from Nuffnang? This is because they are still in doubt in the advertising method as well as the income for the advertising. I managed to introduce Nuffnang company to some of my bloggers friends in which they eventually joined and give a try. I wish to reassure them that such advertising via blog is a 'real income' and not a hoax. However, when they asked me about my cheque, I just said that the company need 30 days to process the application.

On Jan 6 12.00 am, I made my cash out request. I was so happy to see the amount I had was exceeding RM 50 and even more a bit. So, I waited till the next month, Feb but the cheque hasn't arrived. I looked back to the earning section and found that the 30 days is from the end of the month of the application date. So, it means that I shall get my cheque by 28 Feb or 2 Mac 2009. Before I went back home on Friday, one of my to do lists is to contact Nuffnang, Haha. My family members did not tell me I received any letters and I see no info in my earning page in Nuffnang. So, when I was backed home, I saw this letter without knowing who is the sender..

This letter tell nothing other than my printed name and address. So, I whispered to myself 'Is this from Nuffnang? They know that I will be calling them tomorrow?'. Haha. 'Please.. cheque please..'

Once I opened the letter, I first saw HSBC Bank printed on top (Huh..since when I have an account in that bank?) before the Nuffnang Sdn. Bhd. Great! Finally, my first cheque has arrived. Thus, it had proven that Nuffnang do 'exist' and my trust to the company is worthy.

On the top right, the date printed is 2 March 2009 which is exactly 30 days. So, Nuffnang really keep their promises. The application process is 30 days not including the period of time required to be delivered to the recipients. Check out the amount. Perhaps you guys will first see how well I earned before reading the story. Haha. The amount is not a big one but it is good enough to motivate me to continue blogging with more interesting posts. Money is not my first priority. Initially, I gave myself a try to such advertising thing which is popular among bloggers. Any amounts earned is deemed 'extra' or 'additional' or 'motivational'. This amount is earned throughout 2 months time; November and December 2008. Half of the money is the metered campaigns whereas another half is the pay per clicks. For those who had visited my blog and some even frequent visitors/readers, thank you so much for your support!! Last but not least, I love Nuffnang and hope Nuffnang will bring more ''joy'' to me in the future. **Updated: As in hours later, my posts in Nuffnang has been listed among the most popular posts at that particular time. Ironically, ahmike got 31 nangs while I got in reverse 13 nangs. This show how popular his blog compared to mine. Haha..

After 24 hours, my post was nanged by 47 nuffnangers and is now out from the list of most popular posts. (I couldn't able to snap the page when it is at the top). It is the first time I had the 'achievement' and hope it will continue in the future. I would like to thanks to all of you for giving supports and joys to me~~.

My fourth Nuffnang cheque

Hey peeps! Welcome again to my blog! Finally, I had received my fourth Nuffnang cheque. Initially, I plan to receive this cheque during the CNY week. However, due to wrong calculation and my forgetfulness, I was one day late to cash out my payment causing the late reception of the cheque. 

The above earning was generated from 1  October to 31 December 2009. As usual, thousand thanks to all my readers who visited my blog frequently. Some even commented regularly and make a daily visit to my blog.

I will try my best to update my blog frequently despite the hectic schedule I am enduring now. There are seriously many posts related to my life, foods, travels and many more that I would like to share with my readers. I really hope I will able to do so.

Last but not least, thanks Nuffnang for being a wonderful advertising company. Not only they provide us the earning opportunity, there are many FOC events, movie tickets, contests and etc.

My second cheque from Nuffnang, it's triple joy!!

As the title above, thanks to Nuffnang but NO thanks for??? There is problem with the ads placement not only in my blog but to many others out there. The first few days after 2009 kicked off, there was actually no ad at all. Then, slowly the ads began to appear in my blog but they do not appear at the right time. Ads can only be seen from 12 am onwards and the frequency was lesser during day time. The first 2 months were like‘hanging'. I was not sure if there was any problem with Nuffnang handling the ads to the bloggers. The earning for the ads was so little despite having high number of readers. Thus, the total earning for this time is not really good. However, something is always better than nothing. The sum of money stated in the cheque is for 3 months from 1st Jan to 31st March 2009. Check out my 1st cheque about the same amount but took only 2 months here.

So, what's with the earning? As usual, without the support of my fellow readers, I won't be able to achieve that. As I usually quote 'Bloggers need a bloggers' community and readers to keep moving' and with that, I rendered my sincere thanks to all of you. The total fund for my new camera is now increased. Previous 2 cheques + upcoming cheques from Nuffnang + Adsense (Do support yea..) + previous job salary + possible ‘mandatory’ contribution from my family à hope I can make it! So, what's with the triple joy? Coincidently, another 2 of my bloggers’ friends received their first cheque at the same time. So, cheer them up as well for the very first cheque but up to this point of time, they haven’t write anything on it yet. They are Vun and Shanna. Finally, arigatou gomenasai to all my faithful readers! KF sends his love to all of you deep from his heart~

Off topic I am currently back home. Home sweet home. At first, I never thought of coming back but was 'alerted' by my friend that there are still many days to go before my final papers. Then, only I found I am so stupid. Haha. Air cond room + sleep without setting alarm + going out tomorrow with Jun Jun for shopping --> what a nice break!

Back home, I am using IE to make this post. It is so different using IE and Firefox. Those coloured words and copy paste from Microsoft Word made easier with IE. For Firefox, things are complicated with extra super long html coding and dragging of picture up and down is not possible. The good thing is resizing of picture can be made proportionally with accurate measurements which is not offered by IE.

Fifth Nuffnang Cheque with 4 Digit

Aloha readers!!! Finally, the much awaited fifth Nuffnang cheque has arrived! The amount stated is not per month earning of course.. but in fact was for the whole year of 2010.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my readers and friends who showed continuous support towards my blog. I will continue to write basically about everything I encountered in my daily life. However, the momentum for this year or perhaps upcoming years would not be the same as last year. As I had entered into the working world, there are more commitments that I need to prioritize. 

Thanks all once again! Continue to visit my blog..well basically everyday just like your need to eat rice daily! xD

My third cheque from Nuffnang!

It's the third cheque with 3 digits. It took 6 months from 1st April till 30 September 2009. I received the cheque during study break hence only managed to post it now. Do I need to mention again? It's HOLIDAY now and I'm HOLIDAYING very well till now. Phew.. was too tired with recent continuous plans.

As usual, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my supportive friends, my blog's readers and the bloggers' community. I will try to write more posts as many as possible during this holiday and complete the delayed posts (up to 30-50) on my happenings, outings, foods and many more. You can check my previous Nuffnang here. Not to forget, thanks very much to Nuffnang for being an excellent advertising company bringing smile and pockets money to the Nuffnangers. For your info, the earnings generated from Nuffnang was a part of the money that I used to purchase my current camera, Canon G 10 (my gf). I love her so much and bring her along on every occasion.

New record for highest visitor in a day

First and foremost, my blog is not a famous blog to be compared of like Kennysia or XiaXue blog. This blog provides the opportunity for me to express my feelings and thoughts as well as the life experiences gained. Besides, I loves to write on events, foods, travel or current issues attached with photos. I try my best to provide detailed descriptions so that my posts will be informative and not just to 'see and go' without leaving any impacts. On the day I posted my post on "My First Nuffnang Cheque', the number of visitors on that day hits the highest record with 243 visitors deleting the previous one with 208 visitors (should be). Thanks again for those who had come and cheered for me. Arigatou.

As for previous week, I only managed to add 1 more post. It will take me quite some time to make a new post plus I am facing a heavily packed schedule for my studies. For those who do not not mind to wait, thanks again. Perhaps, this is the shortest time I took to make a post. Haha..short and simple but less content. Which do you prefer?

Tiger Run @ Jaya One by Nuffnang and Tiger Beer

Have you seen my post on 'My Dream in the Year of Tiger'? If not, click here. By writing the post, I am entitled to participate the Tiger Run organised by Nuffnang and Tiger Beer. The grand prize winner of the Tiger Run will walk home with RM 8888 worth of dreams and additional RM 1888 cash prize! So, 7 of us reached Jaya One about 4 pm and wandered around before the registration opened at around 4.15 pm. During registration, we were required to sign a letter of declaration of our health status and provide information of our next of kin. Wow.. so serious? Initially, we thought it was just a station game but looking to the presence of St. John Ambulance team and also cones surrounding the perimeter of Jaya one, it should be a real marathon! Upon registration, we were provided with an empty goodies bag. Our name written on sticky note was pasted on the goodies bag instead of on our clothes. After registration, we were then required to wait until the marathon was to be officially kicked off. While waiting, we managed to spot a leopard dressed lady who happened to be Alison. She came here far away from Terengganu to attend this event. It has been long time we didn't managed to meet each other after the UCSI 7th Public Health Campaign held at Sunway Pyramid. Click here to check the post. How are we supposed to run a marathon with the goodies bag? It is indeed a new experience for all of us. Accordingly, this guy is Kevin Chong from the Ntv7 Breakfast Crew. He looks familiar to me but I cant recall who he is until Raj enlighten me on our UCSIPSS Oath Taking cum Pharmacy Night 2009. He was the one who came with my UCSI TV crews and interviewed my VIP, Datuk Nancy Ho, the President of Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society (MPS). Check the gala night here. Forgot to mention, he was the emcee for the event. He was using a hailer but we can't hear any words uttered by him. Everyone was puzzled and confused how the marathon run. He should have raise up the hailer and speak. Everyone was listening attentively but too bad the message wasn't really clear. What we heard was to run round and round and round until you reach Bar Madrid, the final destination. So, how many round we need to run?? Alright, let me explain to all of you. Our starting point was at outside of Headquartrs Bistro. From there, we need to run along the perimeter of Jaya One indicated in red line for TWO rounds. After that, we shall make our first stop at Headquartrs Bistro. At Headquartrs Bistro, we were required to tweet anything regarding the Tiger Run using the provided 6 laptops with 1 of them was not functioning. After running for 2 rounds along the perimeter of Jaya One, I reached this pit stop and quickly grabbed a glass of cold water to quench my thirst. It was a long queue and I wondered what was going wrong. Participants who do not have a Twitter account were required to register a new account and tweet #tigerrun. Participants can also tweet from their mobile phone but I was too stupid to use the technology. Do add me into your tweeter account, don't let me be alone. Click here. Due to the 'super duper' fast internet connection and lack of laptop to be used, the queue was getting longer and longer till I saw Nic, Charlene and Vun were tailing back. After the task was completed, each of the participant was given a sticker pasted on their goodies bag. From the Headquartrs Bistro, we need to run using the green path to our next station which was Royal Oak. At here, all we need to do was very simple, grab a bottle of Tiger beer and placed it into your goodies bag. Simple huh? After that, we need to run back passing Headquartrs Bistro using the green path and continue another round and head towards Frontera. At here, we were required to eat the super spicy habanero chicken wing. There were a lot of baskets of the chicken wing and if the participants were lucky enough and pick correct basket, it will be a non spicy habanero chicken wing. For mine, it was super duper spicy!! One should eat the chicken wing completely despite the hot burning flaming sensation and showed the bone to the staff before they got their stage completion sticker. What next? Run using the green path for one more cycle! Our next station was Cafe Chulo Spanish Restaurant and Tapas Bar. We need to climb the stairs to go up to the bar. At here, we were required to log in into FB account and become a fan of Tiger Beer Facebook Fan Page. If not mistaken, there were only 4 laptops available. In addition, the connection was super duper slow again. This explained the longer and longer queue as time passed. Again, for those who can online using their mobile phone, they can sit on the sofa in relax mood and performed the task. What next? I'm sure you know well about the mechanism of the marathon right? Yea.. run one more cycle using the green path! This would be the last one where we will head to the Bar Madrid. At Bar Madrid, the staff will check your goodies bag to ensure participants have collected enough stickers and items during the marathon. There were 2 stations where items were given to the participants during the run. After checking, you will then required to pose like a Tiger in front of the backdrop where a staff will take your posing picture. L- This was the goodies bag and the each stage completion stickers. R- These were the items collected during the run. After completion of the marathon, we then 'chilled up' at the Bar Madrid drinking countless of cold waters and chatting. I then asked Wan Nah for a spicy habanero chicken wing re-challenge. We headed back to Frontera and tried the chicken wings again. We were once again being cheated to eat a super duper spicy chicken wing by one of the male staff. After that, we only managed to identify those non spicy chicken wings.

Alright, here was the said super duper spicy habanero chicken wing!

Coming up next was a tiger show performance...ooops it should be a lion dance! Not just one but a pair of lion. Check out the tail of the lion!

Let me present you the first food of the night, plate of hotdog stick! I waited quite some time for this fast moving food to be replenished. Actually, the hotdog was rather salty.

He completed the marathon in approximately 19 minutes if not mistaken when I was just to reach Royal Oak (second station). His secret was to run 20 km per day. OMG!! Number 1. We were number one. Alright, to be specify, he was number one in the run while I'm the number one eater of the night. Haha. Not just eating, it was added with a drinking session with none other than our sponsor, Tiger Beer!

During half way dinner'ing, the emcee called out everyone for a prize giving ceremony. The orange T-shirt guy was the one who cheated me & Charlene to eat the super duper spicy chicken wings at Frontera. For all the winner below, they won themselves 6 packs of Tiger Beer and RM 88 angpow!! 1st- Most creative blog post submitted- It was the egg yolk again who won it. Previously, he was the runner up for the Mister Potato Fiesta 2009 blogging contest. 2nd- Best dressed female runner- Alice in the wonderland who wore 4 inch thick shoes took the title defeating Allison, the wild leopard lady. 3rd- Most eccentric runner at Bar Madrid 4th- Most eccentric runner at Cafe Chulo Spanish Restaurant and Tapas Bar- Congrats Raj!! 1st- Most eccentric runner at Frontera 2nd- Most eccentric runner at Headquartrs Bistro 3rd- Most eccentric runner at Royal Oak- Yat Kor. He told me that he got the title by changing his not so cool bottle of tiger beer to a cooler one to put it on his lips. This was because his lips got 'flamed' by eating the super duper spicy habanero chicken wing. 4th- Mystery category - Dustyhawk went home with this prize. Guess what kind of mystery award was that? He was being awarded the title for being withdrawn from the competition the earliest! OMG! Top- Chan June Sew receiving mock cheque of RM 8888 + RM 1888 Bottom- 1st runner up from both male and female categories with RM 8888

At the starting point of the marathon, he already seen holding a bottle of beer and finished drinking not even when the run started. Then, after I finished my run, I saw him with another bottle at Bar Madrid. During the prize giving ceremony, he hold another one. During the picture taking session, he hold another one.
