Ramada D'MA Hotel Bangkok

From the Suvarnabhumi International Airport, it took about an hour plus to reach the more populated and dense area of Bangkok. Ramada D'MA Bangkok Pratunam Hotel is a 4-star international chain hotel.

This was something special about the lift. You need to insert your room card in the lift in order for the lift to move up.

Above is the Superior type room with either 1 king bed or 1 queen bed + 1 single bed. Basically, the rooms are divided based on the floor. Standard floor is from 9-18th floor whereas Executive floor is from 19-26th floor. Of course, there are differences between these two specification and one of the major difference is that Free Wi-Fi Access in the room for 24 hours is only available for the latter.

The TV set although a bit small is equipped with multi language satellite TV programmes.

This is centralised control panel with alarm clock. Not bad, all in just one panel.

Bathtub

Shower stall which is separated with the bath tub. Needless to say, you can imagine the toilet is quite spacious.

Complimentary toiletries.

Simple, economic type of wardrobe.

Complimentary 2 drinking water. The opener is sealed but it seems that they are using recycled bottles. Not bad but the thing is the bottles are quite dirty. They should cleaned them well before re-using.

This fitness centre and swimming pool are located at 8th Floor. At this swimming pool, one can enjoy the scenic view of skyscraper of Bangkok especially the tallest Baiyoke Sky Tower.

This outdoor swimming pool dimension is 14 m x 7.5 m. It is just next to the gymnasium which is well equipped. The sauna is located inside the toilet. We got the chance to try out the sauna session (naked) which was pretty good but not the swimming pool due to time constraint. All these facilities opened from 6 am to 9 pm daily.

Morning buffet at the restaurant.

That was a big portion, Daniel!

Oh yeah, the free Wi-Fi internet access is only available at lobby area and poolside bar.

Overall, the hotel experience was good. However, if you were looking for outdoor market, I think  it's better to stay at Baiyoke Sky Tower of which the Pratunam Market is just within the compound. The market is huge and you gonna walk until your leg pain there.

In comparison, there is no outdoor market outside Ramada D'Ma Hotel but only several local food stalls. We walked about 15 minutes passing by Indra Square (shopping mall) before reaching the Pratunam Market.
