Jun Jun was introduced to kampung chickens

It was the very first time for Jun Jun to meet those kampung chickens. We do see but do not 'call' the chickens.

Those chickens sold in supermarket and most market are of 'kampung bandar' or 'town's chickens'. Kampung chickens are of distinct due to well known fattier, juicier and smoother meat texture compared to town's chicken. And of course, they cost slightly more expansive than the normal one.

There are 3 cages of kampung chickens here. They are all belonged to my auntie who live at Kampung Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. Though they are not caged and not freely wandering around as we might thought of, those chickens are very fat and tasty too. There are altogether 3 cages with different type of chickens in each cage.

Let's meet the kampung chickens.

Side view.

First cage.

Hey, I am not going to harm you! Can you don't show such sarcastic face???

Second cage.

Third cage.

On the other hand, this Restaurant Laut Loong Sing was opened by my relatives. For you information, for a small village like Kampung Bukit Tinggi, there are about 20-25 restaurants located within 2-3 km. The restaurants in Kampung Bukti Tinggi are the preferred choice due to to the fact that it is located near to Genting Highlands. Many foods seekers have shift their destination to Kampung Bukit Tinggi due to various choices, tastier and cheaper than those at Gohtong Jaya or Genting Highlands itself.

So, if you happen to be at Kampung Bukit Tinggi, do drop by and dine in here. Satisfaction guaranteed. However, don't get confused as there are seriously so many restaurants scattered not far to each other. This restaurant is located near the Balai Polis Kampung Bukit Tinggi.

The outcome of those chickens we visited earlier. Yummy.

Fresh vegetables delivered daily. They are the production from my another auntie's vegetable farm which I wrote about it earlier.

Oh yea.. it was Chinese New Year and a 'yee sang' is a must~

He is the co-owner of this restaurant. He can be easily recognised by his size. Once you mentioned 'Fei Chai Restaurant', almost all the villagers know him.

Another owner, who is the younger brother of his and the chef, will be opening a new restaurant at Rampai Business Park in Setapak in a week time. This time, my sister will be the co-boss with the chef. I will be writing about the new restaurant and my readers will get discount for dining in there!

Address,
Restoran Makanan Laut Loong Sing,
No. 97, Bukit Tinggi,
28750 Bentong, Pahang.

LOL! No lar, those are not kg chicks.. Those are the same (by species) chicks that are being sold at the markets. Kg chicks are smaller with various feather colors, smaller in size but tastier on dishes.. :-D

Kampung chicks are by far healthier cause they don't have any artificial things inside them. Just in case I am somewhere nearby, may be I just drop in and have one or two of those delicious looking dishes.
