1 Malaysia: Kamalanathan @ P94 Hulu Selangor

Muhyiddin is insulting the intelligence of the 65,000 voters of Hulu Selangor with such “garbage”.

Would Kamalanathan respond and answer in a crowd if someone shouts “Kamal” or “Alan”? Clearly not.

If Kamalanathan’s name comprises of “Kamal”, “Alan” and “Nathan” then he has a longer name and should be called “Kamalalannathan”! The BN candidate for Hulu Selangor will stare at you for being hostile and unfriendly if you call him that!

Does Muhyiddin Yassin’s name qualify to be a “1Malaysia” name? Where are the Chinese and Indian components? What about Kadazan and Iban components?

Yea.. you heard it right. 1 Malaysia in the name of the BN so called compromised candidate, Kamalanathan. You may be wondering what it got to do with 1 Malaysia with the name?

When I first heard about it, I was in totally shocked. How can DPM, Tan Sri Muhyiddin uttered such words? If he called upon the voters of Hulu Selangor to vote for Mr. Kamalanathan just because of his so called 1 Malaysia name, then shall we proposed that the voters of Pagoh to oust him out in the coming election because we can’t find any 1 Malaysia in his full name, Tan Sri Dato' Haji Muhyiddin bin Mohd. Yassin. You spotted any?

YB Muhyiddin is seemed to be a baggage for Dato Seri Najib’s administration by his incompetency and ‘nothing so great’ achievements especially in delivering the 1 Malaysia concept. Let’s look to the past on the chronology of ‘food in mouth’ disease as claimed by YB Lim,

1. He caused a stir by claiming he is a Malay first followed by Malaysian. Well, it is nothing wrong to called yourself a Malay first but it is absolutely wrong if you wish to deliver the 1 Malaysia concept but labeling yourself based on your religion instead of ‘Bangsa Malaysia’. And guess what, the remarks was made on the April fool day and YB Lim called it as April fool joke. (Source: here)

Next, he was quoted as saying that the Cabinet’s inter-faith panel was ‘small fry’ which received strong condemn especially from Malaysian Consultative Council for Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism (MCCBCHST). Though the MalaysiaKini and Malaysia Insider had apologized for mistakenly quoted YB Muhyiddin, the incident had leave a big impact to the public. (Source: here)
   
3. You heard it now, Kamalanathan stand for Kamal, Alan and Nathan equals to 1 Malaysia.

Oh yeah.. on the achievements, perhaps we should be proud of the introduction of 1 Malaysia 1toilet and the abolishment of the English language in Science and Mathematics. For the 1 Malaysia 1 toilet, I strongly agree but not going to elaborate here. For the English in Science and Maths, thanks for your decision that made the newly textbooks to be withdrawn and abandoned away. With that, we WILL NEVER EVER ACHIEVE VISION 2020 because the Malaysian vision is basically confined to the local scope rather than eyeing to be among the best in the world. Malaysia Boleh and fellow Malaysian, dream on to achieve a developing country status. I know Tun Mahathir will be surely angry with the move, but no choice, he will just see how the country is lagging behind day by day,

On the other hand, the by election of Hulu Selangor showed how dirty politics are. Tun Mahathir was quoted as saying ‘all is fair in love and war and in election’ (Source: here). He enlightened that when he was in the helm of the top number 1 post, he was also victimized by claiming he had another wife in Singapore. What a retarded remarks! You people have nothing else to do than making allegations?

As for Hulu Selangor by election, personal attacks to the candidate namely Zaid Ibrahim was progressing to a new chapter. Initially, he was slammed for being a drinker and now he was labeled as a gambler. Zaid defended that owning a racing horse does not resemble gambling but it is a sport and even the Malay Ruler have their own racing horses. Anwar stressed that somebody in the UMNO owned San Miguel, Philippines- a beer manufacturing company (You may google for the specified person in the board of directors page). What I hate so much about politics is that people irrespective of who they are, their background and so on will use whatever way they can think of to attack another person for their political interests. This is what I called as uncivilized or third world mind set!

I am not mentioning on which parties but when party A throw an allegation, the normal ‘yin and yang’ theory will be that the affected party throwing the same allegation but with greater intensity. As what I can see from the recent situations, it is more like UMNO versus Zaid rather than Zaid versus Kamalanathan.

It may be politically good for Kamalanathan who was an alien to majority of voters except of course the MIC leaders. People may think why these two party making allegations towards each other are day by day. When UMNO leaders called Zaid as ‘kaki botol’, Zaid responded that ‘Which BN leaders that doesn’t drink or gamble?’. PAS came into defend by claiming all the previous PM except Pak Lah had did so, so what is the fuss now? Those voters who are fed up with these fighting may end up choosing Kamalanathan for being neutral in this case. Well, you can’t blame him. He is totally new and had no any significant achievements. Well, MIC has no right in choosing their candidate but to follow their master, UMNO.

The question arise is what is the main determining factors for the voters to cast their vote for any candidate? Their past or their achievements? If you are opting for achievements, glory goes to Zaid Ibrahim. He was the Minister in BN administration before and had done greater contributions to the nations. Well, just google his name and a long list will appear.

If you are judging on their personal background, may I call you an idiot! Who are you to judge a person? Everyone is not perfect in this world. Though Zaid admitted he was once a drinker but now return to the Islam teaching and ‘mengerjakan umrah di tanah suci Mekah’, what is the problem with you not accepting somebody who is determined to turn over a new leaf? Shame on you.

I would like give my greatest respect to YB Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim and YB Lim Kit Siang for making orders to their respective party election machinery for not using the personal attacks in ‘fishing’ the votes. It is a morally good act. We have tainted past leaders from both different parties who still stand strong today such as Dr. Seri Chua Soi Lek and Elizabeth Wong. As for me, I won’t judge them based on their past but will judge them based on their achievements. Come on, dear fellow Malaysians. Change your mind set and be logical and rational. We need leaders to lead the country but we are not into the position at anytime and anyhow to interfere with the personal life. Don’t you agree?

Let’s wait and see the results in this coming Sunday. It seemed to be a 50-50 chance for both BN and PR. May the best win!

Alma Temple @ Bukit Tinggi, Pahang

The public may not know the presence of this temple at Bukit Tinggi where it houses the famous Colmar Tropicale (aka French Village) and the Japanese Village. For exact location, it can be reached by looking to the signboard when you already at the hill. It is located in the middle between the Bukit Tinggi Golf & Country Resort and the Colmar Tropicale. Before I proceed, you may need to recall your Form 5 History subject where you and I was taught on Vedas, Sanskrits, Ramayana, Mahrabhrata and etc.

The above is the God of Brahma aka the God of Creation. God Brahma is one of the Trimurti beside Vishnu (the preserver) and Siva (the destroyer). One can easily recognises God of Brahma as He appeared with four heads, four faces and four arms. With each head, He continually recites one of the four Vedas.

One of the distinct feature of God of Brahma is He holds no weapons unlike other Hindu Gods. On the four hands, He:

1. holds a scepter in the form of a spoon which is associated with the pouring of holy ghee or oil onto a sacrificial pyre signifying Brahma as the lord of sacrifices. 
2. holds a 'kamandalu'- a jar made of metal or even coconut shell containing water. The water in this jar signifies the initial, all-encompassing ether in which the first element of creation evolved.
3. holds a string of prayer beads called the 'akshamala' which He uses to keep track of the Universe's time. 
4. holds the Vedas and sometimes a lotus flower.

It is also important to note that you are required to take 4 joss sticks only and start praying to the God of Brahma by going clockwise starting from your 6 o'clock direction. (Requirements for joss sticks may differ from temple to temple).You must of course pray to all 4 headed God of Brahma. This temple is kept clean by His devotees. Offering in terms of money is optional but encourageable for maintenance of the temple. 

On the fine day of 2nd day of CNY, I got to opportunity to witness a team of lion dance from KL getting the blessings from the God of Brahma.Let's have a look to my recorded video below.

From this video, I got to know that every lion dance team will seek for blessings from the God before performing to the public. This lion dance team was to perform at the Bukit Tinggi Golf & Country Resort. I had learnt a lot from this temple visit. It is also my first time to step into a Hindu temple apart from the one located at Batu Caves.

This is the main and the only entrance of the temple. Overall, this temple looks simple, clean and well maintained. So, to all readers, if you happen to spend a vacation at Bukit Tinggi, do drop by and get the blessings from the God of Brahma.

Datuk Nasir Safar: Indians are beggars, Chinese women are whores

For all Chinese and Indians.

‘’Indians came to Malaysia as beggars and Chinese especially the women came to sell their bodies” "Indians in Malaysia have crossed the line. They force the government for 12 subjects in SPM. Don't force the government. We can anytime revoke the citizenship of the Indians in Malaysia." 

The above statements were allegedly said by Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s aide Datuk Nasir Safar at a 1 Malaysia seminar titled 'Rapat 1Malaysia' in Malacca International Trade Centre. OMG! Did you hear wrongly? Indians as beggars? Chinese women as whores? 1 Malaysia seminar? 

If the statement was made by Nasir, then it will be totally RUBBISH, RACIST and THREATENING to the country. I hereby called upon Home Minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein to exercise Internal Security Act or ISA to detain him for further investigations. 

What are Nasir responses?

In an interview with The Malaysian Insider, Nasir told that “I did not say the word ‘pendatang (immigrant)’. I only said the country has been successful as the Chinese and the Indians from those days until today have been coming here to work”.

At the same time, he also denied claims that he had threatened to revoke the citizenships of non-Malays who demanded that their rights be respected. He was saying “I did not threaten anyone, and I have never intended to do that. You know I’m very close to MIC people. I only said it is not good for any community to make so much demands as other communities will retaliate”.

In addition, Nasir also made a stir by defending the supremacy of the Malay language: “I said Malay language is the national language, there should only be one national language.”

What do the audiences witnessing the remarks say?

An Alor Gajah MIC member claimed he heard clearly on Nasir’s threat to revoke citizenships and also his claim that MCA, MIC and Gerakan do not seem concerned when UMNO is facing problems.
An MIC member heard Nasir use the word “pendatang”. “He said it was Umno who drafted the (federal) constitution and other parties were not involved”.

What are the Prime Minister responses?
In contrast to the claims denied by Nasir, the Prime Minister's Department issued a statement tonight saying that the remarks made by Nasir do not in any way reflect the views of the Prime Minister. The statement issued also said that Nasir has never intended to make such remarks and he was merely saying the contributions made by all races in developing the country. With that, Nasir apologized for any offense caused and will tender his resignation.

So, did Nasir make such remarks? If he does not, why the Prime Minister’s Department made the statement?

What are the MIC and MCA responses?

It was reported that several MCA and MIC leaders as well as NGO walked out in protest of the remarks. Malacca Barisan Nasional (BN) component party leaders are also planning to handover a memorandum to Najib. MIC Youth secretary Shivarraaj lodged a police report on Nasir remarks at Sentul Police station.

What are Datuk Seri Samy Vellu responses?

He condemned Nasir’s remark and called for action to be taken under the Sedition Act. “Although the remark does not reflect the government’s or the prime minister’s stand, but it has hurt the feelings of the Malaysian Indian community”.

“MIC condemns the colonial attitude of this person for degrading the Malaysian Indians and we demand that this person be punished under the Sedition Act, and MIC will lodge a police report against this person. If it is proven that this person has uttered the seditious remark, action must be taken against him”.

What are Lim Kit Siang responses?

“Will ministers put Nasir Safar on the mat at Cabinet meeting tomorrow? Najib’s 1 Malaysia getting very torn and tattered”.

What are Gerakan responses?

Teng Chang Yeow , Gerakan Secretary General said Nasir should also apologise openly for his statement despite his resignation. “Gerakan wants him to apologise”.

For Dato Seri Najib This going to be a hard time for him. 1 Malaysia concept is gaining popularity among the people and now his own men destroyed the image and the whole concept by making such racist statement. In addition, we are in the midst of battling the ‘Allah’ issue as well as arson attacks to the places of worship in the country including surau and churches.

So, will 1 Malaysia remain a concept that will never be conceptualized? Where are the so called unity and harmony among the multi racial citizens? What would be the actions taken by Najib to solve this issue?

What are my responses?

I was damn angry when I read about the news. After seeing from The Star which usually censored the main content, I checked various media to cross check and then my anger is uncontrollable.

Sadly to say all those remarks are always uttered by UMNO leaders. Remember who is Ahmad Ismail who also uttered the same remark that the Chinese and Indians are 'pendatang'? What happens to him now? He is now a freeman being lifted up the 3 years suspension while the news reporter and Teresa Kok were being detained under ISA. but thank God they had been released. Where is the so called justice?

Claims that Malaysia is a multi racial country and everyone is living in peace are never true. Such claims are used as a marketing strategy to lure foreigners to visit our country. When they are here, how frequent they see a group of different races going out together? Don' t look at the secondary school students who perhaps are still intact with each others. Look at those university students and working adults. In fact, the first place of diversity among the citizens is the UNIVERSITY.

During secondary school, many of my Malay friends were transferred to MRSM. During form 6, many of the MRSM students gained easy entry to the university leaving slight amount of the Malays who took STPM. Of those Malays students who took STPM, only a few of them who take Science stream. With that, it causes majority population of non Malays in private universities or colleges while the Malays dominated the public universities.

In public universities, the non Malays are restricted in their movement and in UPM, Chinese Society can't even be formed and those Malay macho who was said to represent the university attacked the Chinese groups. I think you guys still remember the incidence right?

Unity remain an aspiration that will never be achieved. There are lack of understanding and tolerance between the races. Those days, I always see bombing of churches in Indonesia. So, I said to myself that Malaysia is indeed a peace country led by Tun Dr. Mahathir.

However, Malaysia is no longer a safe country, perhaps never be before. Those uncivilized people resort to use force to show their macho'ness or supremacy compared to the others. Why such issues can't be solved in a round table discussion? Why must we attack worship places? With the remarks made by Nasir, it is time for us to think again. Why do we still compromise with UMNO leaders who always condemning the non Malays as immigrants? Why do we vote for such leaders? Why these leaders are seem to be immune from punishment while the same thing will never happen to other leaders from MIC, MCA or any component party.
