Peek-a-boo Back Blouse

Have you heard about Irenelim fashion? It is a Malaysia online boutique offering nice and elegant blouses and dresses to the ladies out there. It is a great pleasure for me to receive a free blouse from her as a exclusive member of BU. She would like to make Monday a rainbow day and not just Monday Blue. Too bad I can't wear it so I extend the exclusive offer to my friend aka model, Hooi Hoon. She would like her Monday to be a yellowish and cheerful day. Between, it was the first time I used manual mode on my camera since I owned her months ago. Well, I'm still learning step by step. Let me present you my model of the day:
Hooi Hoon is a part time model of kwongfeimind.blogspot. She is a cheerful and playful girl. She loves going for trips, cinema, outing, shopping and basically everything. She is currently single.
Photobucket Back view. You can wear a camisole or tube to pair with the peek-a-boo back split seams. Wow.. I never came across the terms before until she explained to me. Front view Side view Side view She loves oranges, do you? She loves apple too, do you? This is the model wearing the same blouse as appears in Irenelim fashion website. My primary objectives are to make sure my model poses better than her and also prettier than her? Have my objectives achieved?
According to my model, she said that the quality of the blouse is good. She is satisfied with the blouse. However, she said that the price offered is slightly expensive. If the price is lowered, no doubt she will make purchase from the site. Thank you again Irenelim for sponsoring this blouse. For more choices, do check their website here.

  1. Wow, awesome! But, I think it's too dark, you will have better result should there be sufficient lighting.

Expensive? Haha... bet you can't get the same piece from a brick and mortar store at the same price. :)

Oh, thanks for the writeup and great pics. :)

  5. Guess u r using dslr as you mentioned using manual mode. Not sure what camera & lens that u use but you can consider play around with ISO eg 200 - 400 and shutter speed 1/15 - 1/25 when taking portrait photos under low light condition as it help to get better exposure but be careful though with vibration shake that may cause image blur. This shouldn't be a problem if d lens equip with vibration reduction mechanism or else use tripod as last resort.

Adjust setting in camera such as contrast, saturation & skin tone will also help to give more vibrant color. The setting depend on your taste of colors lol

Feel free to visit my portrait collection and hope it help

  6. Haha, must be fast mah... :)

You are using a DSLR? If yes, then try the aperture priority setting with slightly higher ISO such as 400. Also good if you get a cheap but nice lens such as the 50mm f1.8. Pretty good one I must say.

    Good luck.

  7. @ caffery: thanks
@ hitom: yea.. thanks irenelim again~
    @ ben & irenelim:
i'm using a semi pro.. G10 canon powershot..
tha day, i was using shutter speed
1/4-1/6 and aperture 4.0 with light skin tone
but i think 1 significant function that i did not utilise is the ISO.. i put it as AUTO ISO ..and the resulting picture all is ISO 80..
    now i know why..
coz i try using even lower shutter speed.. but the object and background too bright so i stick with 1/1-1/6..
thanks for all professional comment..will take note..
btw, nice photo site u have will learn more from there..
@ irenelim: my other friends ask u have more freebies?

  9. I am not a pro in photography. But I think in a controlled environment you no need to use shutter priority. Better use Aperture priority, you can just ask your model to freeze (don't move la) :)

More freebies? Sure... see how first. But at the meantime please do support me by buying some items lar... if everyone wait for freebies, I gulung tikar lor. Haha... :)

  17. yeah, i agree that the lighting is a bit too dark...

generally, if you can't take pictures with shutter speed of 1/25 without underexposing, it means that you need brighter lighting, lol.

indoor studio shots are great if you have pro lighting equipments. if no then i prefer doing it outdoors... a white wall behind your house during morning time works well too :D

    nice blouse btw!!
