Taman Pertanian Sabah (Sabah Agriculture Park) @ Tenom

Looking for something to do and close to nature at weekends? Let's visit this 500 acres land of agriculture park. That is really huge! This park is actually part of 1,500 acres of Agriculture Research Station, Lagud Sebrang Tenom which also houses Agriculture Research Station, Seed Production Centre for Cash Crop and Farmers Training Station.   

The entrance fess are:
Adult : RM 10
Secondary school/ Undergraduates of higher learning : RM 7
Children below 13 years old : RM 5
Children under 6 years old : FREE
Government pensioner/ Senior citizens : RM 7

The entrance ticket includes this tram ride that will bring us tour around the huge park. This tram ride brings back memory of childhood time. 

And the head of the children group, the Mr. Monkey sat at the front VIP seat with the Mr. Driver.

This park consists of orchard garden, crops museum, ornamental garden, plant evolution & plant adaptation garden, model garden, bee centre & museum and animal park.

Recreational activities available in this park includes fishing, boating, cycling and sports activities. However, fish caught and taken home are charged RM8/kg!
