T.G.I. Friday's, Wangsa Walk Mall

It was a friday night, the first day of 2010. After all circumstances, we finally managed to meet up each other at TGI Friday's, Wangsa Walk Mall. In fact, it was such a great dinner to greet the new year with an ex-classmates gathering.

Wangsa Walk Mall is a newly opened shopping mall located at Wangsa Maju. It is within 1 km radius from the Carrefour Wangsa Maju. Among their signatures are Cold Storage and also upcoming TGV cinema. I not sure when the cinema will be open but definitely it will be great to have travel in less than 15 minutes to watch a movie from my house. Back to TGIF, there is a 2 course meal consisting of an appetizer and an entree for just RM 29.90. Cheap isn't it?

There are 3 appetizers for you to choose for.

Clam Chowder

Fried Mac & Cheese Fried cheese and elbow noodles.

Boneless wing
Now, lets move to the entree. There are many choices apart from below.

Fish & Chips
Consists of three portions of fish fillet battered and fried to golden brown. Served with fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce.

Adobo Chicken (NEW)

Half chicken size. Can you finish it?

Tuscan Chicken Melt
Consists of two slices of buttery bread with ingredients that are fire grilled diced chicken, Mozzarella & Jack cheeses roasted onions and tomatoes.

This is something unique about TGIF. If you are having a birthday celebration, the staff about 4-6 people will come right in front of your table and sing birthday song to you. First, they rang the bell or make some noises. They usually ask the birthday boy or girl to stand on the chair. Then, they will sing some song of unknown language to you. After that, they will light up a candle erected on a cake and put it distant away from you. You will then asked to blow the candles. Between, the staff asked the guy above what type of song he wanted. Options given were backward or if not mistaken straight song. The birthday guy chose backward song. Let's see what is a backward song in the below video clip.
