Menara Taming Sari: Melaka Revolving Tower

Does the tower look alike the Space Shot at Genting Highlands Theme Park?

This is the Taming Sari Tower. The design is based on Taming Sari Keris and built using Gyro/Switzerland technology. It is a 360 degree viewing tower standing at the height of 110 meter. The capacity is 66 passengers at one time.

It is also known as Melaka Revolving Tower. It has revolving observation cabin which provide 360 degree view of Malacca including the Malacca Straits and the historical places.

The cost per person is RM 10 with MyKad. Isn't it cheap compared to RM 15 of the Eyes of Malaysia? The duration of each ride is 7 minutes. The weird thing is why do they specify the race in the ticket?

The queue for the day is quite long. However, due to the large capacity, we only need to wait till the third round for the ride. Looking to the hot weather, it is better to quench the thirst with drinks while queuing up.

We are now in the observation cabin and ready to revolve up to the sky!! Look at the smile =P

The ride is 'activated'. Forgot to mention that the cabin is air conditioned. While on the ride, the will be musics played and a recorded voice on welcoming message as well as the introductory to the view/ride.

We are on the most top!

Standing at the height of 80m (the total height of tower is 110 m) with the sight of view of 5km.

Pictured at great height

Nice revolving tower! A must to visit and highly recommended.

  6. hi there.. just to share the information also :P. they stated the race in ticket to make it easy for CSA or customer services attender to check the ticket before u go inside the tower. the reason they doing that is to located a foreigner which is the price different with Malaysian. Malaysian should enjoyed the advantage :P..the price will be more cheaper if u show Mycard before u buy the ticket...
