All the fund collected from the fund raising are being channelled to the kids in Pusat Pemulihan dalam Komuniti, PDK Selayang. This centre is for the orphans and disabled kids. We begin our journey from UCSI sharp at 7 am. Since, today is also the Convocation Day, Dr Nala is uable to join us. The absentees are Cindy, Vun and Loges.
The PDK Selayang is located behind Pasar Selayang. This place brought us to another sight of KL where it is a rural area with narrow and untarred road.
Behind is the PDk Selayang. Picturing together as most of the kids and the teacher/person in charge not yet reached.
Situated just beside the centre is Rumah Amal Cheshire where i think it is home for the old folks with disability. They old folks are very friendly. One of them which is an Indian greeted me in Cantonese. What a shock! There is another function running in this old folk home, so they might think we are coming for them.
L- This is my name tag. Cute human cut with incredible hulk hands and legs. Wat a special one compared to the rest from Xiao You. Really need to thanks her for preparing a nice name tag for all of us including the kids. I received many compliments for the name tag.
R- I not even introduce or knowing this adik Sabri, he alrdy asked me to remove his shoes upon his arrival.

We started the day with limbo rock..

L- This kid enjoyed, didn't cry like earlier one.
R- the King of Limbo Rock..even though still in baby sitter, he still played the games..assisted by Pn Azila, person in charge in this PDK Selayang. Mr Yusoff (the person i contacted all the time) is currently in Sarawak for another function.
R- Forgot the programmes flow. Thanx Xiao You for preparing it for me. The programme for the whole day is conducted in Bahasa Melayu.. It's time to brush up the language.
L- Ice breaking with the kids. Every one clapped after they each kids finished introducing themselves.
Next, is the morning dance. We started with Chicken Little. Every one enjoyed this dance very much as it is simple and fun.

R- Next, is the decoration of the hall. We gave them a piece of paper with pictures drawn to be coloured. Most of them enjoying colouring very much until i do not have enuff papers.

R- Adik Mohd Amir Danial Mohd Ridhuan.. This one is very hard to handle. Initially, he went to kitchen and started to cry when i asked him to register himself. He only join back the crowd during the colouring time but that also accompanied with the teacher there.

R- Adik nursurfisararaa (Girl girl), adik NurQistina and adik Nur SalfaSoleha have to leave for afternoon class... There is actually a replacement class today for the upcoming raya..(so fast raya). So, about half of the kids are newly registered.
R- Jason, the coordinator for the group AWAN.. accoding to him, the group members are smart and they actually said because awan moves fast when blown by the wind..thats why they are fast to become the champion..whereas the group apple, they eat too much apple so they are heavier to move

L- The next game is the musical chair.. It is very hard to handle a kid (adik Sabri) where he refused to join the rest to play but instead wanted to stay inside the circle

R- Salute for the effort of Kean Tatt where he actually taking care of Kuzairi (OKU) from the beginning till the end. Kuzairi need special attention and accordingly to KT, he asked him to caress his hair all the time.

Hope, thru this event, we all are able to understand to the feelings and wants of the minority group in our society who are disable and orphans. A simple effort will make them smile. I would like to take this opportunity to applaud and thanx all my committee members for their hardwork and commitment towards the success of this project!
